It’s hard to believe, but PermaTrak installed its first project 10 years ago! Since then, we’ve added over 300 maintenance-free precast concrete boardwalk installations across the United States and Canada. We recently visited a couple of our earliest projects to see how they looked at 10 years old, and we were pleased to see that they both looked as good as they did on Day One!
Our South Central Region Sales Manager, Fritz Fromherz, recently traveled to Jackson County, NC to see Judaculla Rock, an ancient soapstone petroglyph that is now surrounded by a PermaTrak observation deck.
Another early PermaTrak project can be found at Osprey Harbor Village in Osprey, FL. This L-shaped observation deck and kayak launch gives villa owners a place for recreation and relaxation along the waterfront. We recently visited this project as well and were happy to see that our concrete boardwalk was still in excellent condition after years of salt water and high UV exposure.
